Hi Jan. The Leyland helmet was used as a logo by their motorsport team. If you look at photo's of the works Triumph Dolomite touring cars and TR7 rally cars of the late 70's and early 80's, you'll see the helmet logo on them. As far as I'm aware, the design wasn't used by any specific driver.
